Learning Today for a Better Tomorrow
We hope all our students enjoy their summer break ready to return to school on Monday 4th September 2017.

Headteacher’s Welcome

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Priory Academy. Nestled in the heart of Dunstable, in a picturesque setting overlooking the historic Priory Church, you will find our school a very exciting place, where traditional values are combined with the latest technology to deliver a very effective and modern curriculum.

In recent years our school has gone from strength to strength culminating in excellent results and an Ofsted inspection judgement of Good with Outstanding features. Priory is an academic school which is regularly over-subscribed.

Having been granted 9-16 status by the Secretary of State for Education in July 2013, we have made considerable investments in developing our site, resources and staffing over the last few years.

In this light we are delighted to be able to offer a continuity of learning for our young people whom we get to know and nurture from Year 5 through to their GCSE exams in Year 11.

I hope that you will enjoy looking at our website, and that it can provide you with an insight into life at Priory.

Mrs M. Smith, Headteacher
